Our work

BAE Systems

BAE Systems is one of the world's largest defence companies employing more than 90,000 people.

The company wanted to demonstrate that despite its size, it has a unique culture that supports every employee.

We worked with the company's highly-effective comms team to plan and produce a series of films including Jake's exceptionally powerful story.

The films performed significantly better than expected and we are working on a follow-up series.

Legal & General

Legal & General is one of the UK's largest financial institutions.

In 2023, the highly-successful CEO Sir Nigel Wilson was ready to announce his retirement. At short notice and with complete confidentiality, we helped the senior communications team create several different films for internal and external audiences.

We had one hour in Sir Nigel's diary and we were finished in 59 minutes.

In 2012, HSBC was fined $1.9 billion for failures in its anti money laundering controls.

Five years later, the bank wanted to demonstrate how deeply it understood the problem. We produced a series of films featuring drug dealers, people traffickers and financial fraudsters who explained their crimes from the inside.

The series won multiple awards and was recognised by Europol, Scotland Yard and the US Department of Justice.

The Samaritans

The Samaritans is the UK's leading suicide prevention charity.

NPL Media helped the Samaritans' communications team deliver a series of films aimed at recruiting new volunteers from the armed forces.

We produced a series of highly-effective films to support this very important organisation.

Sky Arts

In a year that many would rather forget, NPL Media created "Rankin's 2020" a 6-part TV series for Sky Arts that captured the year’s emotions in pictures.

The NPL team organised a global photographic competition fronted by photographer Rankin. We received more than 20,000 entries sent in by amateurs and professionals across the world.

In the 6-part Sky Arts series, Rankin gave photographic masterclasses and linked up with expert and celebrity guests to pick out the very best of the public submissions.

The best pictures were published in the "Rankin's 2020" book which sold out and raised more than £10,000 for Mental Health UK.

HSBC needed to engage a younger demographic with its recruitment campaigns.

We created a series of films made entirely with footage filmed by the current generation of graduate new-joiners.

The style and energy of these user-generated films helped drive a 7% increase in applications to the graduate programme.
